Choose Export from the File menu to export entries from the currently open document to a text file. The Export dialog box appears.
First, enter the name of the new file in which the exported entries will be put. You can use the name Address Book Plus supplies or replace it with another name.
Next, choose an export file format from the File format pop-up menu.
Click All entries or Selected entries depending on whether you want to export all entries or only the selected entries.
Click Save to export and save the text file. Click Cancel if you decide not to export the information.
You can modify and create new export file formats, and you can specify which fields to export and the order in which to export them. See the subtopic “Creating/changing export file formats” for instructions.
